My office is located on the main floor of a quaint house at 169 Huron St, Stratford, Ontario, between John St. and St. Vincent St. There is a spacious treatment room for patients, a massage therapy room as well as a dispensary for supplements. Parking is located behind the building. New patients are always welcome at my office. Normally, we can accommodate new patients within two weeks of their call, and we do everything possible to work within their scheduling limitations. We do offer evening hours on Monday night.

Marilyn Schneider is our clinic receptionist at The Naturopathic and Complementary Care Centre. Marilyn has been a receptionist in the medical field for many years. Marilyn, her husband Wayne and son Greg operate a dairy farm near Harmony. For enquiries, or to set up appointments, please call 519-271-2440 to speak to Marilyn, who will schedule your appointment at your convenience and, if necessary, put your name on a cancellation list for an earlier time if it becomes available. Marilyn is also there to relay information or questions you may have between your office appointments with me. I will address your concerns and have her relay that information back to you as quickly as possible. If you need to have your supplements refilled, you can phone, drop in, or email Marilyn at reception@cyg.net.

Renée Paradis, B.A.Sc., N.D. joined our clinic in the fall of 2009 to cover my maternity leave and now that my maternity leave is over she has continued in the clinic on Mondays. Renée received her undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Guelph. Thereafter, she completed the four-year program in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto. Renée is registered with the Ontario Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy – Naturopathy.

Renée is a dedicated and caring doctor with a gentle approach who is committed to the health of her patients. Currently, Renée lives in Guelph, Ontario where she and a colleague have recently opened The Guelph Naturopathic Medical Clinic. With the present rise in chronic diseases and many preventable illnesses, it has never been more critical to understand how health today impacts health in the future. For this reason, Renée’s clinical practice focuses on helping patients understand the value of their health and the importance of self-care and preventative medicine. She practises as a general family naturopathic doctor, and she works with her patients to enhance resilience against disease and restore balance. Naturopathic medicine is a solution that can last a lifetime.

Renée looks forward to working with you on your natural path to wellness!

Call our receptionist, Marilyn at 519-271-2440 and book an appointment with Jenn and see what we mean. Jenn is available:

Monday to Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Fridays 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Massage Descriptions:

Deep tissue bodywork helps to strengthen, relax and release the natural restrictions of the different connective tissues of the body. The focus is not on immediate results, but on the long-term goal of altering the muscle structures and limitations.

Sports massage is composed of an invigorating combination of range of motion movements. Before exercise this massage helps loosen muscles and tendons, increasing elasticity and flexibility. After a workout it can reduce soreness and tension and relieve areas of muscle stress before problems develop.

Myofascial massage utilizes gentle pressure with time to achieve its results. This type of massage focuses to correct imbalances in the connective tissue that surrounds the muscle tissue

Relaxation or Swedish massage is considered to be one of the most popular types of massage. It is primarily for full-body sessions and promotes general relaxation. It is effective for most ailments, because massaging the skin, the body's largest organ, sets up a chain reaction that produces a positive effect on all layers and systems of the body.
